Since starting Foto Vibe as a photo booth company in 2016, planning events has always been on my mind. With my background in graphic design and visual merchandising, I’ve always been very aesthetically oriented, and there’s nothing more satisfying to me than taking a vision and making it a reality. Now that the company has grown, I’m SO excited to be able to not only decorate and bring the fun to parties, but to curate entire events top to bottom that are “foto”-worthy!

We recently had the pleasure of curating a dreamy party for a sweet boy’s fifth birthday that featured all his favorite things, and it was definitely a VIBE.

Our client requested a rainbow of organic neutrals, and mentioned that the family had just come back from vacation in Hawaii and wanted to work that chill Aloha energy into the look of the party. As with all of our clients, we asked her to send us the invite for the party to make sure all of the colors and decorations we chose were in-synch with her vision. We also asked to see the event space, so we could create a layout with easy flow and maximum fun! I made a mock-up of the layout and sent it over for approval.

I made a separate mock-up for each station of the party so that our client could get a crystal clear picture of how the big day would look, starting with the kid’s table setting. We stuck with neutrals and organic materials to keep the vibe light and natural.

We wanted to add an extra special touch to the panels for this party, so my team helped me put together a massive balloon rainbow in all neutrals. It was a labor of love but it was the perfect piece to make the party POP.

Next we planned some fun, hands-on activities! We heard that the birthday boy loved gardening, so we set up a “Plant the Rainbow” gardening station with different colored plants, tiny shovels, and little watering cans. For this adorable setup we used Foto Vibe’s own picnic tables, umbrellas, and panels, all of which are available for rent upon inquiry!

If all that isn’t sweet enough, we planned for a whole wall of cupcakes for the kiddos to decorate, along with an adorable custom cake from one of our favorite bakeries! And to help beat that midsummer Orange County heat, we arranged an all organic flavored popsicle stand from our friends at POP.

And what’s a kid’s party without a bounce house? Adding a pop of balloons in the theme’s colors made the bouncer as fun to look at as it was for the little ones to play in. Looking for a smaller footprint? Foto Vibe has a small white bouncer you can rent to pump up the fun at your next kids party!

Needless to say, we put lots of love into our party curation to ensure that no detail is spared and the event looks and feels exactly how our client hoped. It’s our top priority to always be on the same page as our clients, both aesthetically and budget wise.

It was tons of fun for the Foto Vibe team to bring this “5 Is a Vibe” party to life. Most importantly, our client and the birthday boy loved how it turned out and had the most special day! It’s so rewarding to be able to show off our creativity, good vibes, and attention to detail on a bigger scale now that we offer party curation, and I’m already looking forward to aaallll the incredible events we’ll be able to help pull off in the future.
