We’ve expanded our ports… We’ve teamed up with Donna & Captain Doug at Prince Charters in Huntington Beach to offer our boating decoration services. We are literally so thrilled to work with their beautiful boats.

FOTO VIBE: “Captain Doug, how long have you been boating and what influenced you?”

“I’ve been boating for over 40 years. Prince Charters is family-owned and operated, and was originally founded in 1965 by my grandfather. He was an ordained minister with a genuine, lifelong passion and love for the sea. As a boy, I would hear exciting stories of my grandfather’s sailing adventures. My first time sailing solo was at age 9, and by 12 years old I crewed for my grandfather on his first ash scattering at sea. From that day on I had a passion to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps, and continue the family legacy of Prince Charters.”

FOTO VIBE: “Donna, Can you tell us about your variety of boats? Do they come with Drivers/ Captains?”

“Yes, of course. All 3 of our boats are private charters- we provide a licensed captain- you can leave the driving to us! If you like the feel of a Duffy, then you will love our Charly More. She is a spacious 26′ Coast Guard Inspected boat for up to 15 passengers. Spread out in the sun or shade and enjoy the peaceful beauty of Huntington Harbour in Huntington Beach.

“The Alexandria charter is a stunning classic wood boat with teak interior, fully restored to its original condition. Chartered with a licensed captain and available for 1.5 to 3 hour tours. It has such a cool vintage vibe to it and fun for up to 12 family, friends or co-workers.”

FOTO VIBE: Tell us about what you can bring on your boats and what are some interesting facts?

“Oh sure, well we encourage you to bring food and beverages. We provide the licensed captain and you can purchase beer, wine, hard seltzer, champagne and sangria online prior to your cruise or while cruising on the boat. Over the last five decades, Prince Charters has provided professional and exceptional service, offering memorable experiences and beautiful views of Huntington Harbour. Captain Doug has been boating for over 40 years, and holds a United States Coast Guard Captain 100 Ton Master Mariner License. He is CPR and First Aid Certified.”

FOTO VIBE: Wow Donna. I love that you offer chartered private boat services. And I definitely feel safe knowing how much experience your team has under their… boat- I mean belt. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know more about your family run business and enjoyed the bubbly on all 3 of the boats. I believe there is one more boat I’d love to hear more details about, the luxury private yacht… Journey.

“Yes, our luxury yacht can accommodate up to 30 of your friends, family or coworkers. Enjoy the Journey’s large covered aft deck, roomy all wood salon and bar room or enjoy the spectacular views from the spacious forward deck with ample seating throughout the yacht. We offer craft beer on tap by RIIP Beer Co. It has also been completely restored and is a beautiful vessel.”
